Perseverance is the
key because becoming successful is not easy. In life you will fail or there
will be things in your way blocking you from your success. What really matters
is if you continue to achieve your success or not. At the end of the day you
either achieve it, on the way, or not even tried. “I am trying” should not be
in anybody’s vocabulary. The word has been abused and misused to compensate
people short selling them to their highest potential. As Winston Churchill
quoted, “success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to
continue that counts.” As a student striving
for my ultimate success I have fallen down numerous of times. Yet, when I look
around me and seeing that the situation could have been worse I put my poker
face on and continue. Maybe not right away but getting me back on the path of success
is the start. Winston Churchill is that man about success he have fallen and he
live through it to experience and share of his knowledge. How the quote speaks
to me and the word success is, how badly do you want it? If you truly want it
there would be no way that you can fail or just give up on what you want. If
you happen to so fail like Michael Jordan said, “I’ve failed over and over and
over again in my life and that is why I succeed” is that you must learn from
your failures. Repeating the same mistakes multiple times will do nothing but
you down from reaching the top. As much as you fail you must keep trying because
it is all about perseverance and how badly do you want it.
Dream bigger, grasp
the dream and make it happen. Success plays a big part in achieving more than
originally planned. It might start off small like staying on top of your
homework. It then leads to being a more organized student. It is all like a
chain reaction, one thing leads to the next and it all plays in the bigger
picture of being successful. Sometimes there are people who are afraid to dream
because they fear of failing, with the stakes being so high if they do fail it
would be much of a greater impact. Fearing is the main reason why people don’t
try “in order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your
fear of failure.” –Bill Cosby. To me in my books people rather fail than
succeed because of fear. What they yet to see is the great feeling you get when
you achieve more than what you really thought you can. To me I thrive on
knowing that everyday waking up doing my best for my future is a day full of
success. At moments there is time when I want to quit but my thirst for success
is greater than knowing what I can lose if I fail. It’s all a chain event if
you succeed you will set up more successful goals in life that will make your
life more pleasurable.
In my own personal
community how I succeed mainly are transportation, money, support, and my
personal desire of wanting all my successes. What prevent me from achieving my
success are the little people in life and my support group not being so big. I personally don’t let a lot of things bother
me but there are people out there that deserve to be sent out to mars. I am
talking about the ones who create drama or they see you succeeding so they put
you down to make they feel better. Even the average American on the streets is
those little people to me even though in the future we might cross paths and I
might need them at some point right now personal connections are not top
priority on my to do list. Also that most of the support I receive is from my
boyfriend. So there are times that it is upsetting because of relationship
issues. However my path to success compared to the things that prevent me are
far greater. Having a car, enough money to take me to planned destinations allows
me to achieve my dreams into becoming a successful person. Even with all the
sticks you still need the fire to have it burning. My fire is my desire for
success, I want it.
